Natalie Merchant at the National Council of Teachers of English…. She was serenading people waiting for the main exhibits to open. She’s such a great singer and author. Her book, Leave Your Sleep, with Barbara McClintock is quite brilliant. She’s singing a passage from her book, entitled “The Peppery Man.”
